During the Tabiona game catcher Tom Johnson threw out players seven times at second base. D J Valdez and Jeff Manzanares had a strong defensive showing against the Tigers. It was a totally different story Tuesday afternoon when the Vikings faced off with the Manila Mustangs. At the beginning of the fifth inning the Vikings had shut-ou- t the Mustangs 15-Unwilling to accept defeat, the Mustangs coach continued on with the game with a final result of 0. 34-- 5. The Vikings put together both an offensive and defensive game that proved hard to beat. Second year pitcher Arlynn Williams threw a in the 15-- game. Williams also hit the only home run of the game.
