three months hew he was born july in ti Bw weden eden and embraced the gospel of jesus christ in his native land december 18 1856 was shortly after afterward waro ordained to the priesthood and called on a mission and to preside over nork 0 lugs branch sweden february 99 9 1 1858 V ile he emigrated from his native land ia to gather with the saints 6 and nd arrived in silt salt lake city october 7 am 1858 he married his surviving wile wife anns anna Soren aen october 18 1861 resided in the tenth ward salt lake city for a number of years where he acted as teacher april 6 1869 he was called on a mission to sweden and left home june aih same ame year arrived in scandinavia june edth and was appointed to preside over stockholm conference he labored faithfully and with great success for over ver three years yearns arriving home having arge harge of an emigration july 17 1872 shortly after this he be moved to levan juab county utah where he has haa resided since and has been art an active worker in the priesthood he was counselor to the late bishop N aagaard also to the present bishop JN P to the time of his death presided over the high Prie priests itte and the scandinavian meetings
