euty enty second year biser sim er williams was born in shipton Mai mailett leti Somerset shire england march 31 t 1826 and was waa married to stephen Wil iiama june 10 h 1844 at bristol england and was baptized in the same town lu in 1846 they wish win their family immigrated in the ship windermere they the came acrons the plains in captain Richard richards ss company and settled in halt 1 alt ety duty and was wag a faithful member of the relief belief society she was a sweet singer and will always be remembered by her associates as a singer in the choir for over thirty years for if no other singers were at meeting sis er emma would always raise her sweet voice in song of praise to 10 her maker she loved her religion was a true tithing and donation payer on account of the con condition condi didon ion of her husband they moved to 10 emery castle valley in the spring of 1895 where most their children reside she waited faithfully fully on her husband for a long time until the lord took him to rest last january since which time she has been failing in health in the spring she thought she would like to visit her two daughters and old friends in ephraim and when she returned home again to 10 emery took to her bed and after an ahe was con concilus cious to the last breath and knew her children A day or two before she died she gave 5 for tithing to toBia bishop hop brinkerhoff of emery she was the mother of twelve children denof ten of whom are living seven ions bons and three daughters all of her descendents are in full fellowship of the gospel she had bad till 1855 when with her family she removed to loon leon green which place now forms part of nottingham notts it was st enor where she ahe first heard the gospel preached by the late laie elder james stone who wits was at that time lime traveling and preaching in that thai neigh bo elder eider stone died several year since at ai ogden in 1849 her husband was baptized in the church of jesus christ of latter day saints ty by elder eider george taylor father of elder joseph E taylor now of the salt bait lake stake presidency sister morley was baptized subsequently at that thai time brother broiher and sister morley were in good yvere were liberal with their means in sustaining the work of the lord they made a home shome lor for the missionaries many of whom still remember their liberality and especially the kind of sister morl morley ey who always evinced a natural solicitude for the comfort of the elders and under whose roof they ever found a hearty welcome and resting place she would frequently accompany the elder to open air meetings where by her vocal rau musical talents she aided to collect the people together in vast numbers to ahm the elders would then have the privilege of bearing of the restoration to of the gospel in 1872 sister morley with her husband and most ot of the family emigrated emig raed to utah aney came to ogdon ogden city soon after afier heir arrival and have resided here from that time to the present sister morley bad a robust constitution and fur fr a number of years she enjoyed excellent health bu for a few years past she has experienced much phy physical debility and more she has been a great sufferer still uhe she bore her affa affi affliction lotion with much lortt fortitude and resignation she labored diligently to guide her home and set a good example before her children and to educate them religiously and secularly as far as aa their income would enable her and her husband to do so no within the past two years she has been reduced very low and the family famay were called to her bedside at one L time expecting to see aee her close clone her eyes la 14 death but bat through the grace of god rallied again for a season but on august 3 1897 she passed deacey peacefully ully away ag ac the age of 73 years year 3 months and 1 day she had fifteen children six of whoa are dead sue sao has 32 grandchildren and quite a number of great grandchildren six aix daugh era and three sons beside her husband survive her two of the daughters are in england sister mot mop ley was kindhearted and generous she was a faithful falih lul wife an affectionate mother a constant friend and a tria roa honest latter day saint the funeral services were held angud ath in the second ward meeting house la in ogden and
