Show DECEMBER 22. 1987 L, Obituary Larsen rites held Mark Alma Larsen, 36, 1364 N. 350 W., Sunset, died Monday, Dec. 7, 1987 at a Salt Lake City hospital Larsen, Clearfield; Wendell Larsen, Layton; Rebecca Sickler, Layton. at the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Roy with Bishop Richard T. VanOrden of the Eaglegate 8th Ward in Salt 1 1 Lake City officiating. Interment was in the Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch. The family suggests donations be made to the Possibilities Association of the Developmentally Disabled, 356 S. 300 E., Salt Lake City, Utah 84111. Putman succumbs David William Putman, 56, of 387 E. 500 N., Kaysville, died Monday, Dec. 7, 1987 in the Lake-vieHospital in Bountiful of pancreatitis. He was bom July 20, 1931 in the Cold Springs Picnic area of Spanish Fork Canyon, a son of Henry Lee and Bessie Noakes Putman. He married Norma Downs Jan. 28, 1954 in Ogden. He was reared and educated in Helper. He lived in Ogden after being discharged from the Army until 1960, when he moved to Kaysville. He lived there until his death. He was a member of the Kaysville 18th LDS Ward. He had worked at Hill Air Force Base for 37 years as a production control technician. Funeral services were held at the Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary. Claudia Layton Young, 51, of Midway, Tex., formerly of Layton, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1987 in Houston, Tex. of cancer. She was bom Sept. 2, 1936 in s Ogden, a daughter of Stanford and Viola Mae Marston Layton. She married Mark Francis Young Sept. 8, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared in West Layton and had lived most of her married life in Texas. She graduated from Davis High School and attended Utah State University. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She had been a dance teacher and was active in the Boy Scout program and the Little League organizations. Surviving are her husband of Midway, Tex.; five sons and two daughters, Mark Douglas Young, San Antonio, Tex.; Clinton Lee Young, Madisonville, Tex.; Lon Kendall Young, Joshua Alan Young and Curtis Wayne Young, & all of Midway, Tex.; Mrs. Duane (Joleen) ODell, Bryan, Tex.; Alisa Ann Young, Midway, Tex.; seven grandchildren. Also surviving are her parents of Layton; three brothers and seven sisters, Stanford John Layton, Salt Lake City; Adrian Phillips Layton and Lyndon Carl Layton, both of Layton; Mrs. Charles (Laurel) Barlow, Mrs. William (Christine) Painter, Mrs. Stephen (Rebecca) Mrs. Alfred (Sherrie) Hawley, both of Syracuse. He worked for McDonald Aircraft in general dynamics and had also been a painting contractor for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy. Surviving are one son and two daughters, Milton Perkins, Spo- kane, Wash.; Karen Young, Tazewell, Va.; Pennie Lightfoot, Medical Lake, Wash.; 12 gran- dchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Irvin R. Perkins, Kaysville; Don H. Perkins, Bountiful; Dale M. Perkins, Layton. Interment was in the Kaysville City Cemetery. She was bom April 19, 1938 in Milford, Utah, a daughter of Thomas Watkins and Ruby Bobbie Stewart James. She married Nathan B. Smith June 4, 1956 in Las Vegas, Nev. She was reared and educated in Milford, and graduated from Milford High School. She had lived in Ogden for six years and in Layton for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Layton 1st LDS Ward. She enjoyed painting. Surviving are her husband of Layton; one son, Thomas Eugene Smith, Layton; four grandchildren. She was a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and the School of Library Science. She was childrens librarian at the Cleveland Public Library and Seattle Public Library and school librarian at East High School. She was library director at Murray Public Library and organized the Davis County Library system in 1946, where she worked as director until her retirement 1938 7, 17, 1960. He married Beth Roberts April Helen Parker Gibson, 83, of 10 S. 100 W., Kaysville, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1987 in Humana Hospital Davis North of causes incident to age. She was bom Oct. 28, 1904 in Ogden, a daughter of Adelbert Franklin and Pamela Jane Horby Parker. of a heart condition. He was born July 8, 1951 in Mount Pleasant, a son of Duwain A. and Ruth Olsen Larsen. Services were held Dec.
