Then came the turning point of the game for the Braves. With the additional foul shots and the ball out of bounds, Bountiful quickly narrowed the margin to two points with two minutes remaining in the game. But Jason Finder found himself free under the basket and the margin was increased again to four. Tony Smith battled in a layup and was fouled, Mitch Thain muscled in a tipin, and Smith stole the ball and scored a layup to all but ice the game for the Braves. Ryan Jacobs then scored on an inbound pass and was fouled to give the Braves a 60-5- 6 lead with and basketball on the part of the Braves. Fuller, an honor student at Woods Cross where he lettered twice in football and three times in basketball, is also an honorable mention Academic at BYU.
