Show 26, 1987 MAY Births at Lobbying seminar planned The Davis County Council On Aging is vitally interested in strengthening the grassroots legislative network in order to address issues which affect older persons at the Legislative Planning and Action Committee has planned a two day seminar emphasizing how one can influence the legislative process. Steve Jennings, Utah Legal Services Developer, will present the seminar. This seminar is designed for senior citizens, local residents and others interested in the state local, state, and national levels more effectively. In order to accomplish this the Davis County Council on Aging legislative process. Residents of Davis County, especially senior citizens, are invited to attend. The sessions are scheduled for June 4 and July 7 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Davis County Commission Chambers, Davis County Courthouse in Farmington. To make reservations call Marilyn at Once again the Lagoon Opera will offer a special performance for senior citizens in Davis County. This years play is Neil Simons Theyre Playing Our Song. The play will be presented June at 8 p.m. in the Lagoon Opera Theater. Tickets are $3 per person and can be picked up at the Heritage Center. Bybee succumbs 1 1 Keith BiglerBybee, 62, of 55 1 N. 200 W., Clearfield, died Monday, May 18, 1987 at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden of complications due to surgery. He was bom June 16, 1924 in Ogden, a son of Arley S. and Vera Alice Bigler Bybee. He married Ann VanderPol June 30, 1943 in San Diego, Calif. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple Aug. 26, He had been an overseas traffic manager and had also worked in logistics at Hill Air Force Base. He had also worked at Freeport Center. He had served 44 years military and civil service. He had lived in Ogden for 30 years, Mojave, Calif., one year, and in Clearfield for 31 years. He graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State College. He was a member of the Clearfield 8th LDS Ward where he served as a elder and first counselor of the Sunday School. He had also been a scoutmaster. Mary Ethelyn Hardy Gamer, 88, died Tuesday, May 12, 1987 in a Layton nursing home of causes incident to age. She was bom Jan. 12, 1899 in Hooper, a daughter of Nephi Edwin and Sarah Hart Manning Hardy. She married Orlin Leslie Gamer Dec. 18, 1918 in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in December of 1919. We Will be Open Memorial Day The meeting was held in the home of Clarence Anderson.
