Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Horace (Cleo) Barber, Syracuse. Services were held Feb. 21 at the Syracuse Stake Center with Feb. 8, injuries sustained in a automobile accident, near Las Vegas, Nev. He was bom July 25, 1949, in Ogden, to Mr. and Mrs. Gerald A. Smith. He married Connie Rae Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larue Brown, Koosharom, Utah, Nov. 3, 1973 in the Manti Temple. Brent grew up in Kaysville, was an active member of the LDS Church, for whom he served a two year West Central States Mission. He was a district sales manager for George Bennett Jr. George Henry Bennett Jr., 82 of 1303 W. 2700 S., Syracuse, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1987 at a nursing home in Bountiful of causes incident to age. He was born Jan. 17, 1905 in Syracuse, a son of George Henry and Annie Dawson Bennett. 'He married Norma Ellery on Sept. 5, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died July 2, 1981. He had been a lifelong resident of Syracuse and graduated from Davis High School. He was a farmer most of his life and had been a school bus driver for many years. He had worked for the Davis County School District, the Naval Supply Depot and the Arsenal. He was a member of the Syracuse 3rd LDS Ward where he served as a high priest. He had also served as counselor in the bishopric and ward clerk. He had served on the stake High Council, and had served in many church auxiliaries as a leader and teacher. He had been a temple worker at the Ogden LDS Temple from 1975 to 1984. He and his wife served an LDS mission in the Oklahoma Mission from 1972 to 1973. He served an LDS mission to Australia from 1925 to 1927. He had been a member of the Aussie missionary group for 60 years. He was a charter member of the Syracuse Lions Club. He had also served on the planning board for Syracuse. Surviving are six sons and two daughters, Jay C. Bennett, Sunset; Robert DuVal Bennett and Wendell E. Bennett, both of Bountiful; George Floyd Bennett and Mrs. Glen (Dorothy) Bouy, both of Syracuse; Mrs. Richard (Connie) Murphy and Scott W. Bennett, both of Salt Lake City; Ellery K. Bishop Clair Bankhead of the Layton 28th Ward officiated. She died Feb. 21, 1987. He is survived by his wife Connie, two daughters and one son, Lisa, Shanna and Michael, all of Highland; his father and mother, Gerald and Joan Smith, formerly of GEORGE HENRY BENNETT, JR. Lillian Tiffany Lillian Moser Tiffany, 64, of 899 E. 400 N., Kaysville, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1987, at her home of heart failure. She was born Oct. 29, 1922, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Walter and Theresa Swenson Moser. She married Lawrence Tiffany Aug. 20, 1937 in Farmington. The marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple Feb. 14, 1984. She had lived most of her life in Silt Lake City, moving to Kaysvil-ltti- n That Wonderful Thornock; Mother of Mine by Janet Ostler accompanied by Ruth Owens; benediction, Dick Mendenhall. Burial was Koosharom, Utah. at Delles William Manning, 82, of Honolulu, Hawaii, formerly of Farmington, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1987 at his home of cancer. He was bom Nov. 26, 1904, in Kaysville, a son of John Chandler and Mary Ann Edmonds Manning. He married Mabel Moon July 25, 1929, in Logan. She died March 21, 1948. He married Tokuhisa Bonnie Tsubota Sept. 27, 1957 in Tokyo, Japan. He was reared and educated in Davis County. He had lived in Farmington, Oregon and in Honolulu the past several years. He was a member of the LDS Church and had served a mission in the Eastern States. He had worked as a munitions specialist for civil service. Surviving are his widow of Honolulu, three sons, Don W. Manning, Farmington; J. Merrill Manning, Mountain Green; Jerry Manning, Honolulu, Hawaii, and 16 grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Erma Lane, Alameda, Calif. He was preceded in death by two :i . ' The Heritage Center will hold the monthly luncheon March 12 at 11:30 a.m. The entertainment will be provided by the Old Timers followed by Lee Warren and her Doggie Follies. The menu for the day includes baked ham, parslied potatoes, buttered carrots and apple pie. A different and very entertaining program is planned and everyone is invited.
