Firemen lower a basket containing body of Mrs. Irma Randall, 35, a Brooklyn mother who died in flames after she had rescued four of her nine children. A crowd held a blanket and the mother tossed the children into it. All landed safely, but after the rescue Mrs. Randalls body lay across the burning window sill.
