BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF STERLING TOWN: Section 1. The water rates for the Town of Sterling shall be as set forth herein: $8.50 per month minimum monthly charge for 25.000 gallons or less monthly water consumption. All water meters within the Sterling Town water system shall be read every other month, beginning April 1 through October 1, of every year. Water patrons will be billed monthly on the minimum monthly rate of $8.50 per month, with excess monthly consumption being billed upon the first billing date after the meter reading. Section 5. Water users who do not use the water for a full twelve months during any year shall pay either the $8.50 minimum monthly rate for all twelve months, or a $30,000 turn on fee whenever the water is turned on into the users line after any period of nonuse.
