| Show THE INSURANCE COMPANY BUEAL BILL the following is the new bill relating to insurance companies which has ha passed the legislature A BILL amending I 1 an act relating rela liias tor to fire insurance companies approved march 13 1884 be it enacted by the governor dative assembly of the territory of utah SECTION 1 that section one of cha chapter pt e r 46 laws of utah 1884 be am amended ded by adding at the end of said section except as hereinafter pro videu that section three be amended by striking out the word april in the second and fourth lines of said section and inserting the word july in lieu lien thereof also by all after the word I therein ther eln lin in t the h e sixth line of said sec afon that section four be amended b by y striking outtie word one in th the e fifth line of said section and substituting the word two in lieu thereof s EC chapter is hereby repealed and the following substituted to read as follows SEC 6 it shall be lawful for any number of persons to associate themselves together for the establishment of a fire insurance c company in this territory and they shall amany be e deemed a body corporate cor orate authorized under the laws of ake the territory to transact a fire insurance business on complying with the provisions of chapter 1 of chapter 45 jaws aws of utah 1884 relating to corporations for general purposes provided that it shall not be lawful for any such company to transact fire insurance business in this territory unless it shall have subscribed a capital of not less than two i hundred thousand dollars fifty percent per cent of which shall have been paid up and shall have complied with tile the provisions of this act |
