books containing the pedigrees pedigreed grees and arms ot of the nobility and gentry of the kingdom from 21 henry the VIII to the lter latter end of the seventeenth century the first belog being issued in ill 21 henry VIII and the last la in 2 jamef 2 two books of modern records these contain the ota pedigreed pedigrees grees and ana arms ot of peers compiled pursuant to the standing orders of the house of lords of 11 may 1767 four books or 01 pedigrees pedigreed grees and arms ot or baronets baranets baro nets under ft a royal warrant ol of 8 dec 1783 lor for cont contesting eting and preventing abuses in the order of baro nets neto 3 8 grants of aref these comprise the grants of armorial bearings down to the present day ot of the second class of documents the collections consist
