Show FOUR T ineil wr EK leone nichols lundquist the little crippled fifteen year old daughter of mr air and mrs chas lundquist died sunday afternoon at the home of mrs airs mary diary wight in the third ward after an illness of about five years with tuberculosis in the till hip leone was a roost most beautiful child both botolf in features and nature heaven had been very kind to her in that respect for her life was as a beautiful dream and during the long years of her suffering not one word of complaint had ever escaped her lips something like five years a ago 01 ol she fell upon the ice while going home from school out at point lookout bruising her hip the hurt was not considered very serious at the time but it soon proved to bo be of a very serious nature tuberculosis appeared aril little leone was compelled to give up running about or even walking for her log leg was rendered useless the little girls mother having tied died she was taken care of by her aunt for a bear ear and then a home ionic was secured for her with mrs airs mary diary wight of this city just four years ago and luring during those four bears aunt mary alary has been all that a mother could be to the little sufferer ever watching over and nourishing her with a caro care and solicitude that was godlike for a time little leone was wheeled about in a baby carriage but as she grew this mode of 0 transportation became impossible so so a couple of years ago the primary and religion class children of 0 the third ward subscribed enough money to purchase an invalid chair for their little suffering comra dein which she was conveyed to and from her primary and sunday school now she is gone and while one and all feel that god has been good in taking her yet her presence will be missed by those who were closely associated with her and all who knew her feel feell blessed in tin the acquaintanceship tance ship funeral services were held tuesday at 10 a in in the third ward meeting house the radiated from her joseph F 1 hansen related how he had visited the little girl just shortly after her birth then lost track of her until christmas time about four 3 ears ago lie ile went down and visited the little invalid and told her about her father who had couely desei ted ills his wife and babe just before leaving for her mission mr air hansen requested leone to write a letter to her father anil and lie would deliver it to him in denver on oil the way over it was lone done and when after a day and a halts crr lundquist was as located in a railroad office III ali hansen went to him hill taking him by surprise and presented the letter which was an all a affectionate appeal to tile the father to come and see his little helpless daughter mr air hansen told the father the history of his child and appealed to him to help kielp her the man promised to to do so by sending ending 1000 1 per er month in cash mr hannen wrote to him again from england rn gland urging him to help and
