| Show cannonville CANN ONVILLE conference the cannonville Cann onville ward quarterly conference convened at cannon vine ville on sunday june let at 10 a m bishop WM buo J J henderson presiding on oh the stand in addition to the bishop and counselors were ward teachers and representative men from the vari various otiA branches composing the cannon ville ward the choir sang redeemer of israel and elder jacob groff offered the opening prayer the choir then sang the hymn come we that love the lord the time of the morning meeting was mostly occupied with the verbal reports of the different presiding officers those rendered by the ward teachers were highly satisfactory and those of the primary exceedingly cee encouraging A notable feature of the many reports was that of the superintendents of tee three sunday schools which showed that the children are receiving a proper gospel education at the hands of the sabbath school officers and teachers at the conclusion of the reports the choir sang hark the song of jubilee 1 and the benediction was pronounced iby by bishop wm win J henderson at the after afternoon nooh meeting which commenced at 2 there was wag a large congregation the choir sang a hymn and prayer was offered by elier elder isaae isaac losee the choir having sang arise my soul ariae 11 the sacrament wasi was ad administered the minutes of the previous conference were approved the speakers ov 09 ajr occasion were bishop henderson and counselors seth johnson and andrew J hansen their remarks were listened to with much atte attention attea stion tion the meetings were spirited and highly instructive tive the attendance was unusually large and great interest was evinced in the proceedings throughout after sin singing illig by the choir ther the congregation were dismissed by counselor seth johnson and conference was adjourned for three months JOHN M DUNNING ward clerk |
