permission to co lay a private pipe from toe the water mains to his residence on en fourth street between first and second west streets referred to the committee on waterworks water works EB critchlow asked that the mayor be authorized to issue a deed to a certain piece of property belonging to the esta estate teof of john edwards referred Re fOrred to the mayor JB J B farster was granted grant ed a frei free license to run ran a job wagon forgone year samuel moore asked that his mustered red lice license inse to run a job wagon be to lot Jo bruson granted john axton and others residing on G seventh and eighth streets asked tor for an extension of the water mai mains na I 1 referred to the committee on wat water er works george naylor asked permission to lay a service pipe from the mains commencing at the intersection of east temple temple and eighth south running thence north to fifth south street thence east to first east street thence north on first east street through bagle gate to first street thence east to A street thence north p past ast the eighteenth ward chapel or the most practicable cable street to the intersection with the line of the proposed salt lake fort douglas during waa the bathing ing season a large number of el passengers arrived at their depot and the they were frequently annoyed by hack back men and drivers of excursion wagons T they diey therefore asked that a policeman eema 13 be stationed at the depot during the bathing season to keep order granted the committee on water works to whom was referred the report of the 9 superintendent rin of waterworks water works found to ud it uc to be correct adopted the committee on up arice to whom were referred the reports of tor ter s stated that they had examined th them em and found them to be correct adopted the special committee appointed to confer with the county court to see if the county would join with the city in building a road up city creek cation canon reported that the count county y would be willing to expend 2500 upon the road they therefore recommended that the sum ot of 2500 be bi a appropriated such for the purpose of building sue SUCH a broadi upon condition thit that the county spend a similar amount toe the report was received and the recommendation adopted the committee on waterworks water works introduced trod a bill for the ordinance providing lor for the
