As the silt salt lake train which arrived here at 6 list last evening was pulling out of salt lake city a man was seen walking along the track the warning whistle told him to getoff get off the track As tie lie looked aroun around CL IL and nd saw his bis danger be became flurried and could move neither way he finally succeeded in collecting himself sufficiently to get off as the train tip sped ed by he appeared aged and infirm and was slowly wend lac big way homeward as the train ca came me upon him had he not managed to get on off he would in all probability have met his death as be was not observed in time to have entirely stopped the train it II was a narrow escape and will no doubt work upon the old gentle mans nerves lor for some soine time to come ogden 13 7 3
