Roberts about Roberts: WADE WYATT, G Roberts about Wyatt: Wade comes to SUSC after an L.D.S. mission and one year at the University of Utah. At he has good size to go along with his outstanding shooting ability. Wade should fit 6-- 4, into our motion offense very well. TIM SCHIRRA, C Roberts about Schirra: Coming out of Scottsdale, Arizona, and playing on a very good high school team has provided Tim with a good basketball background. He has good size and is still growing. We plan to use Tim in the center position. Casey is coming off an L.D.S. mission, also. At he has good size and jumping ability. As a at point returning starter guard, he gives us the needed experience and leadership at this very important position. Kelvin has outstanding quickness and penetrates with the best of them. We expect Kelvin to be one of the better points guards in the area this year. THUNDERBIRD 1989-9- 0 I;, n l i 7, AARON CROOKSTON, F Assistant Coach Steve Hodson announced to The Thunderbird that Aaron Crookston has decided to leave the team due to a lack of playing time and for personal reasons. Due to six minutes of playing time against the Germans, he will lose a year of eligibility. DAVOR MARCELIC, G Roberts about M arcelic: DaVor is a 6 big guard who started for us about half the time last year. He is a very good shooter who can take it to the basket if needed. He is an outstanding defensive player with good hands and strength. He should have a great senior year and present many problems for visiting teams. 7-- 3, PETER JOHNSON, G Roberts about Johnson: Feter is a very aggressive competitive big guard and small forward. He has the unique characteristic of being his best during big situations. Peter is a good defensive player and can score with anyone. He is one of the key new recruits added to this years team.
