The price is $6, and SUSC students may purchase them at either the Registrar's Office or Plant Operations. In the past, parking permits were stickers displayed on the rear window of the car Beginning this year, the permits will be hung from the rearview mirror. All students parking on campus must have a permit to park legally. Students owning motorcycles must register with security but Health center now open BY JULIE COOK SUSC students can find the answers to many of the health questions they are curious about at Student Health Services, according to Kay Messerly, registered nurse and director of Health Services. Doctor, accident, illness and minor emergency services are provided at the clinic. The clinic, located in Manzamta C-is open during the school year, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5 p m The clinic will be staffed by a registered nurse A physician and two physician's assistants will also be available at the clinic are not required to buy a permit. Motorcycles will be ticketed, however, unless they are parked in the designated areas Visitors may obtain a free permit from security if they are going to be parking on campus and do not want to risk getting a ticket. Visitors who get a ticket must go to Plant Operations and have it voided Parking tickets carry a $7 fine, and unpaid fines may result in withheld grades, loss of library privileges and withheld transcripts. Also, medical equipment, such as crutches and vaporizers, are available free of charge. However, there is a charge to cover the cost of medication given and a $10 records fee is required for the first visit to help the clinic continue to provide quality health services. Insurance is not a part of the health services, but the clinic can act as a link between students and insurance organizations. Claim forms are available in the office. Students can purchase school insurance when they pay for tuition and fees at the cashier's office. Student Health Services is there for SUSC students only.
