Show Tfie Tfiutiderbird Tuesday November 12, 1985 Patje 9 Trip to France slated by language group Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower are but a few of the historical and cultural sites to be visited this summer by participants in a SUSC study abroad program. Paris will be the base for the June 10 through July trip to France. Participants will travel from that base to many points of interest including Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur Cathedral, Versailles, Fontainebleau and the Madeleine. With blocks of time free, participants may also choose to see their own sights around Paris, or they may choose to make a small jaunt to Switzerland, London or the Riviera, said instructor James Mills, the tour director. Mills, an associate professor of French at SUSC, conducted a similar tour for the college last summer. Because of its success, the number of spaces available for participants has expanded from 15 to 25. Space is available on an equal basis to interested individuals. A $150 registration fee must be deposited before Feb. to insure a place in the program. However, Mills indicates that deposits will be accepted beginning Nov. 1. 20-da- first-com- e, 1 first-serve- d 1 Last year the tour filled up so rapidly that we had to turn away seven people, he said.
