Features Vignettes The unique show features a series of vignettes displaying many of the different types of puppets in brief dramatic sequences. Show Highlight One of the shows highlights comes when master puppeteer Elton Norwood, founder of the group, manipulates a Banraku puppet to play the koto, a Japanese stringed instrument. Puppets used in the show range from 24 inches to six feet in height. Mr. Norwood, a former computer programmer for the State of Colorado, began pursuing his interest in puppetry 11 years ago, spending five years as an apprentice learning to make the figures, write, produce and direct his own shows. Other members of the group on tour are Phil Normand, chief puppeteer, and puppeteer Julie Ormsbee.
