| Show BURGLARS BUR GLATeS AT WORK IN if PAYSON A NEWS special from payson is as follows the operative cooperative co store was broken into by burglars at 11 pm saturday august 23 the young man who at the store at nights was at the circus and did not get to the store till 1115 when lie he found the back door broken open from which volumes of sulphurous smoke were issuing ile he immediately called for tor help and on examination it was found that the safe had bad been blown open by means of gunpowder and all the money therein amounting to about taken away the burp burg burglary jars had drilled a liole hole into the lock through which they had poured their powder their tools consisting of drills and chisels were left on the counter the whole door was blown to pieces and the massive hinges were broken off the plate was blown four or tive tise yards leaving ils its ts mark on the woodwork as it went along and finally knocking off one of the props of the counter and leaving a heavy mark on the floor where it finally fell feil no certain clue has yet been obtained by which to trace the robbers |
