Playground Proceeds Proceeds will go to the American Fork Training School, American Fork, to assist with the development of Fairyland Playground. The playground began in 1956 as a therapeutic playground for mentally retarded children of all ages at the American Fork school, by Dr. Vernon F. Houston, school superintendent. According to Myron E. Strate, president of Fairyland, 8,000 feet of steel pipe, 5,000 feet electric underground conduit, 20,000 feet of underground electric cable and more than 1,000 yards of concrete have gone into the construction thus far. Most of the material, labor has been donated by area business firms and volunteer workers have done the work. Future Plans Future plans call for extensive night lighting, a continuous sound system to play recordings about each story book character and a lake around the Fairyland castle. The construction of The Old Woman in the Shoe, home of The Three Bears and the Merry Miller also are planned. The park is open to the public, any day of the week until 10 p.m. VALUABLE COUPON SAMPLE Mb t lottor waytl Not a potto or powdor but tub of (owing plaittc that cvihiom torn poti and koopo fab tooth tighter longer. By Bonnie Lake Tribune Home Service Director Help yourself to a May Blossom Float! Its better than Grandmas old remedy of sulphur and molasses for that tired, lazy feeling that gets most of us when warm, sunny days come around. Fruited milk drinks with an added bonus of Ice cream are so refreshing . . . and nutritionally speaking, milk Is superior to any other food or combination of foods as a source of calcium. One quart (four glasses) of milk furnishes the same amount of calcium as 7 pounds of carrots, 39 eggs, 2 oranges, 21 pounds of potatoes and 6 pounds of cabbage. Although all of these foods are important to an adequate diet, it would be impossible to eat them in such large quantities as a regular daily source of calcium for people of all ages. May Blossom Float 7 cups milk 1 cup mashed banana 14 cup liquid honey 1 cup pineapple juice, chilled 1 pint vanilla ice cream Mix together milk, banana, honey and pineapple juice.
