Health Services Corp. will provide $10 h funds for the projmillion in ect. The other $4 million will be raised in the area served by the hospital, the only one in the community. The new addition will be built just north of the existing building and will include a seven-stor- y nursing tower accommodating 208 new patient beds, including intensive care and coronary unit. a d A portion of the original hospital building, dating to 1939, will be razed' when the addition is completed. A a Brigham Young University is offering an English course for those who d not speak English, or who speak English at a beginning or intermediate level. Dr. Harold S. Madsen, coordinator of the 8 YU Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) program, said that Provo and near-bfrom persons communities are welcome in the class, which is free of charge. 185,000-square-fo- y non-churc- OKLAHOMA: Wrestling Champ Accepts Gospel Wrestling has long been the main interest of Kevin Young, one of Oklahomas most outstanding high school wrestlers. Last summer, he won two national U.S. Wrestling Federation titles, and represented the United States as a wrestler in Poland. REXBURG: Cooperative Education Program at Ricks The Cooperative Education Program, n by IOCS, ar.d participated more than 25 million students in colleges and universities in the United States, is now available to students at Ricks College. Peter Valora, director, said there are more than 300 at Ricks taking part in the program, mostly in the Rexburg and Idaho Falls areas. The work is usually part-tim- e and is mainly in the business field. Areas employing students, in addition to business, are sociology, psychology, speech therapy, political science, manufacturing, drafting technology, foods and health science. Open about his conversion, he has given missionaries referrals from among his teammates and friends. An outstanding sports figure in Norman, Okla., Kevin is also frank about the church during news interviews. In an interview with J. Carl Guymon of the Oklahoma Daily, Kevin said, I like discipline. I dont mind working hard. I dont drink at all, or smoke. The way I figure it . . . the price I pay makes me more deserving than the next guy." Kevin said he feels he has more since joining the church. Students concerned about what to do after graduation, and employers looking for qualified graduates to fill positions, are getting a helping hand from Ricks Colleges student placement service. New at Ricks, the program invites prospective employers to interview students, and to discuss programs with them and with the faculty and administration. The program, says Dr. Donald C. Bird, coordinator, extends beyond the state of Idaho to include Utah, Oregon and Washington. He added that he also plans to visit California, Arizona, and Colorado, introducing prospective employers in those states to the program at Ricks. Dr. Schreiner is a performing musician who has achieved national recognition and eminence. Originally from Germany, he came to the United States at the age of 11, at which time he had been a church organist for three years. He was officially appointed the Tabernacle organist April 7, 1924, and has been known to play more than 200 performances a year, including recitals, nationwide broadcasts, general conferences and other church and civic concerts. Dr. Schreiner has also established himself as a composer and has compiled six volumes of organ music. CCH Students Elect Miss Na Hoa Pono 74 SALT LAKE CITY A tall former lady missionary from Tonga has been named Miss Na Hoa Pono at The Church College of Hawaii. Vaughn L. Belnap, manager of Employment Services for the church, reports there is a need for an individual with at least 15 years experience to assist in the church's data processing management and systems design work. These interested should contact the Church Personnel Office, 50 E. North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. Linda Lorraine Mataele, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tuilatai Mataele of Nukualofa, Tonga, was chosen over 21 other entrants in the annual contest. First runner-u- p to the Miss Na Hoa Pono is Marilyn Reiko Anzai, 19, from Wailuku, Maui. A social services major, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Teru Anzai of Maui. TORRANCE, CALIF. Primary pianist, Gretch-e- n a featured piano soloist was Hoopes, Jan. 12 during a concert presented by the South Symphony at El Camino College.
