"Our husbands are involved with prescription medicines dispensing them in the proper way, for the proper purposes, to the proper people. For this reason, Id like to see our group do something to help stamp out illicit drugs. And already we have a comncly-installe- mittee lines d ganization to keep women and in tune with what their husbanjs are doing eight hours a day. We feel that establishing this common meeting ground is essential for harmony in the home. d along these seeking an area in w hich we can offer our volunteer services. w oi sing Of course, doing volunteer work is nothing new for the pharmaceutical auxiliary. In fact with every day that goes by, it is becoming more and more of a service organization, Ibss and less of a social group. And according to Marsha Walker, attendance at strictly social meetings is falling off, while the number of ladies turning out to do volunteer work is steadily increasing. Our '.members want to be involved with really worthwhile philanthropic things. We are so eager to serve the community And this philosophy certainly is obvious when you take a look at the group's past and present health projects and Mrs. David Walker Tuition camperships are given each year to children afflicted with diabetes and cerebral palsy. Donations have been presented to Girls Village, a project of Women Alert. When she isnt reading up on pharmacy, Marsha Walker keeps busy with sewing two of and textile painting her favorite hobbies. She reminiscing enjoys about her days at the University of Utah and at West High School, where she met her husband.
