deseret we emu awu I 1 wish to call the attention of the publia to the fact that all three of the judges of elect election ion ibn for this precinct are of the so called 69 liberal party it la Is generally understood that the precinct registrars had the selecting of the judges for their pre pro clatts but not to appoint and according to the rules of the commission we should select at least one for the minority now I 1 it to ba be distinctly understood that I 1 only gave the name of one of the three for said party the others I 1 recommended are ara conserva conservative tivo gentlemen and of good repute but they were not wanted they are mormons cormons Mor mons there will be probably five or six male votes cast in this precinct for the minority party 01 course the judge timber was all in POLITICS JUST before the election in ohio the inter infer ocean approvingly remarked the women of ohio cannot vote but they will spend election day holding prayer meetings in eve eye every ry town of that state to pray for the success of the republican ticket 11 bless us and save usi but this is carrying religion into politics a ahli thing ng that the inter ocean accuses the cormons mormons Mor mon mons of doing it does not appear that the pintora of the ohio women helped the republican party a great deal but it seems that its chicago organ approved of the effort aud if it 16 had pre prevailed with the heaven heavens there would have been rejoicing in tho anter ocean office over the favor of divine providence to the party of high thigh moral ideas bat of course what would be scandinavia against the introduction of any measure savoring of restriction of religious liberty for my part I 1 think the mormon movement will die out of itself us all abnormal movements usually do tho the best that can be said for I 1 it tso so far for Is that most of the unfortunates who hav hava 3 been enticed into the ranks res of mormonism are conscientious and sincere sincera in their catholics rians Episco episcopalians Episcopal lans ians and every other denomination work harmoniously together against mormonism so enormous Is the evil aga against amt which they contend that it begets a unity of purpose that is quite beautiful in contrast with the lingg that sometimes overtake communities muni ties like our own we copy this as evidence of what wa we have repeatedly stated that is that while the men and women connected with the tho sectarian schools school s in utah pretend that they do not want to intes interfere sere fere with the religion of the mormons cormons Mor of the juveniles these there people deny this to the mormon but boast of it to others the money raised in the tho east to pay them for their services Is obtained with this avowed object and intent they pretend hero here that their motives motive sare aare are not to proselyte and yet they are fent sent here for tb that at very purpose it is known that the mormon men man and women are too well welt versed in tho the doctrinal ve garles vagaries and contradictory crenda creeds of modem christendom to be snared mared or dazzled by anything that these sec Fec sectarian tarlan missionaries can
