At that time, President Ezra Taft Benson of the Council of the Twelve outlined the destiny of the training facility in accelerating the missionary effort of the Church. The Church now has established language training centers at Brigham Young University, Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, and at the Campus, ',ale, Hawaii. Following his conversion many of his close friends were offended because he had joined the Church, and he even lost his job. "I know this Church is true. Ile said he gained his testimony through reading and pondering the Book of Mormon. By reading it from 4 to 6 a.m. and 9 to 11 pin. every day, he finished the book in two weeks. One time Brother Moon and his family had an appointment with the missionaries at 7 p.m. Due to bad weather conditions the missionaries arrived 15 minutes late. Brother Moon started the meeting at the appointed 7 p.m. hour with a song and prayer and was teaching his family from the Book of Mormon. "I have a determination to serve the Church during my lifetime.. I also hope to play a small part in helping my fellow citizens of Taejon recognize the divinity and beauty of the message of the restored Church," Brother Moon I |
