Mr. Buehner was born Dec. 27, 1898, in Stuttgart, Germany, a son of Carl Frederick and Anna Bertha 75 , dies in S.L. letters and numerous awards and honors. He graduated in 1918. Later he graduated from the Chicago Institute of Technology. He served in the Eastern States Mission from 1919 to 1921. He held many positions during his years of church service and was set apart as second counselor in the Presiding Bishopric on April !0, 1952, by President J. Reuben Clark Jr. Mr. Buehner married Lucile Thurman Sept. 26, 1921, in New York City, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survivors include his wife, 1564 Cherokee Cir. ; two daughters, Mrs. J. M. (Ruth) McPhie, Roanoke, Va., and Mrs. Jolui C. (Marilyn) Riches. Murray; a son, Carl T., Salt Lake City, and 22 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: John A., Phillip H., Clarence (Stu), Mrs. Q.
