Show .'.24 B c Thursday, LESE'ET NEV'S, October 29, 1970 Art Expo Slated At Mall By CLINT BARBER Deseret News Staff Writer I A huge invitational exposition of Utah artists, and several other new Utah art exhibits highlight this weeks Deseret News Art Calendar. -- Art Expo 70, a carnival of exhibits and demonstrations of many types of art, some of them novel, will be presented Nov. 4 through 9 (except Sunday), at the Valley Fair Mall, 2700 West and 3500 South. All ages, both professional and amateur, are invited to enter the exposition, and awards will be presented in many different categories. . The Associated Utah Art- ists will present their annual fall ir .mbership exhibit beginning Sunday at the Utah State Historical Society Gallery, 603 E. South Temple. A reception will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. T Brigham Young University present an exhibit of eight printmakers from the Kilbride-Brad'e- y Art Gallery, will beginning Monday. Also show- ing in the secured gallery of the B. F. Larsen galleries will be a show by Richard Byrd, graduate faculty member. The Salt Lake Art Center Rental-Sale- s Gaileiy, 54 Finch Lane, will present a showing of works by Gene Stark beginning Sunday, with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. The Artists Collect exhibit in the Art Centers main gallery will end Sunday, and the main gallery will be closed for several days.
