He has found time to be of service to the Iifferent organizations, feeling that all voluntary health and welfare organizations should be er.cour-agp- d to further their efforts. He has average at least one trip abroad each year, each time representing different organizations and promoting their work in other countries. Among the areas he has visited are: The Far East, Russia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Iron and other Curtain countries, South America and Central America. He takes time on his trips to gather information concerning the progress being made by charitable organizations in the respective countries. He has coo rdinated reports for CARE, UNICEF, International Society for the Welfare of Will the Good Disabled, Industries Organization, and P e ople to People Organization. According to these reports, a great deal of good work and genuine service is being performed by Americans abroad, contrary to many reports which tend to dimmish the important gains being achieved by the volunteer groups. M ANY OFFICES HELD Among the many organizations Mr. Warshaw has served m and the many offices he has held are: Board member of the National Society for Crippled Children and Adults; President Emeritus of the Utah Society for Crippled Children and Adults; past director and executive committee member of the National Rehabilitation Advisory Committee; member of the Executive Board and treasurer of the United States Committee for the International Society for the Welfare of Cripples; member of the National Committee for UNICEF; member of the Advisory Mental Health Council of the Public Health Service for the United States Government. Western regional representative of CARE; member of the Presidents Committee on Employment of the Physically Handicapped; board member for the Utah Speech and Hearing Foundation; member of the Boaid of the Citizens Advisory Committee for Salt Lake County Hospital Past state chairman for National Folio Foundation; past piesident of Utah Nations; former United for Aquation t a .1 uic Vsvntuuncc uiaiuitait vi for the Vocational Rehabilita don Department of Utah, member of tne Advisory Council for Holladav Children's Center for Mentally Handicapped. Mr. Warshaw has recently been chosen campaign director of the 1968 69 March of Dimes. He presently is state chairman of CARE.
