being I 1 in a healthy and prosperous condition baptisms being quite numerous elder henry eyring also called he resides at st george and left here for switzerland sept 9 1874 he labored in germany and switzerland and enjoyed his labors exceedingly ceedie cee y he returns in good health returned missionary elder joseph hyrum parry recently returned from a mission to england called this morning he left this city september oth 1874 and on his arrival in liverpool was appointed traveling elder in the leeds con conference teren feren ce where he labored with much satisfaction till may blay 1873 1875 when he was appointed trav elling elder in the liverpool conference and to labor in the star office where he remained till his release to return home with tho the last company of emigrating saints on the of july he has enjoyed a very good mission always feeling well in the discharge of his duties while in the office he held and preached at a great many outdoor meetings in the streets and squares of liverpool but with little apparent success for although the people would sometimes listen very attentively that was the extent of their interest ia in the truths of the gospel all classes
