And the Aggies main concern was to stop Penrose’s aerial show and force them to run never 19-1- destroying relinquish Although Penrose completed 18 of 32 passes for 214 yards the Aggie defense played with the tenacity found only in a winning ball club and never allowed Penrose to complete the big play “The defense did a great job to take away the long pass” said Aggie head coach Phil Krueger ‘They had one long pass that set up a TD and the tight end caught a few over the middle but other than that I was very pleased with points with one of SDS’s touchdowns coming after that interception a point
