visitor center are located on 7 No across from the Health Physical and Education Recreation Building The visitor center is open although construction will continue for about two weeks Val Peterson physical plant director said Peterson said the visitor center replaces the temporary visitor information trailer presently at 7 No and 12 E and the visitor parking toll booth which was located southeast of the UC Both the toll booth and the road off 8 E leading to the visitor parking area will be eliminated as will the information trailer “The change allows one person to now serve as both information located and toll booth employee” in- serted Peterson The new visitor parking area was formerly for student parking Students will now park in the old visitor parking area The only entrance to this parking area is from 7N Staff I parking which formerly had an enteance of 8 E will also have only this one entrance Peterson Road blocks may be posted soon to catch students not complying with the Utah motor vehicle registration code Officer Dennis Leishman of the Logan City Police Department must register their autombiles in Utah when driving on Utah highways even though attending the University unless a student permit is obtained This permit allows students to operate motor vehicles in Utah until they cease to attend the University A permit can be obtained at the Traffic Office at USU only after the following requirements have been met: A Utah State Highway Patrol safety inspection sticker must be obtained or the vehicle must bear a safety sicker from the home state of the student The state and license plate number of the vehicle must be furnished as well as the address of the vehicle The student must furnish the Utah address at which the vehicle is principally kept and evidence that said student in full timf under the regulations of the non-reside- nt non-reside- nt out-of-sta- ap- places were still available An additional staff parking lot located behind the
