Dr. Cl o ward .taught school In County, I Utah, from 1908 a Sevier iVy'luntU 1 1913. After receMnf medical de- Dr. Cloward,his f rom the p. University of Maryland In 1913, . he practiced for a short time in Utah before joining a clinic In Hawaii. He retired in 1939. - iV'X -- BORN APRIL 21, 1883, in Burrville, Utah, he was a son of Jacob 'Elijah and Susan Bingham Cloward. He. married Virginia Staker In 1904 in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y j Saints. She died in 1937. He married Elizabeth Connolly in 1939 in Los Angeles. DR. CLOWARD was a gradu-- , ate of Monroe High School, the Brigham .Young Academy and received a bachelors degree from the University of Utah. He was a veteran of World War I and served an LDS mis- sion to the Samoan Islands. SURVIVING ARE his widow; two sons and a daughter, Dr. Ralph B. Coward, Honolulu; Lt . Col. Glannln A. Cloward, . Gear-fiel- d, Utah, and Mrs. Wallace (Ruth) CUnger, Salt. Lake Qty, Ala) surviving are four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Mary Arminta Waters and Mrs. Theron (Oranell) Hunt, both Salt Lake aty; Mrs. Fred J. (Cora) Ludlow and Mrs. Golda MacDonald, both Spanish Fork, Utah; Elwin H. Qoward, Mon- roe, Utah; Loren P. Coward, Chandler, Ariz., and Reece M. Goward, Provo, Utah. FUNERAL SERVICES will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at 260" E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, where friends may call two hours prior to services. Burial will be in the Salt Lake , aty 1 Cemetery.
