with col connor and staff on the sunday evening following the caval rys first ni nights 0 ats 1 march was continued up to brighams Brig hams city where there they rested all day en on monday and left at night for cache valley arriving at bien blen dull durt early on tuesday where they came up tip with the infantry the cavalry rested there that day and the infantry moved for franklin and nort rort daylight on thursday the cie cavalry pissed the infantry and got first to the river about 15 miles north of franklin two companies of the cavalry immediately crossed to the erth side of the river and
