She decided to here accept the position because she liked the Nebo District area, having spent her last year of college serving an internship at Wilson School. Jennie was born in San Jose, California, where her father was serving as a Navy pilot. He was killed when she was very young. Her mother, who is a registered nurse, is currently living and working in Reno, Nevada, where she can be near her parents and keep tabs on them. She has a younger brother, Eric, who is attending BYU, and presently doing an internship in accounting in Denver, Colorado. She also has a younger sister. Missy, a physical education major, who has interrupted her studies to serve a mission for the LDS Church in Guatemala. In the summer, she enjoys camping, water skiing, and traveling to visit relatives. Her winter hobby is skiing. During her life, she has developed some good philosophies on working with children. She has always felt that if children are and can learn responsibility and they will be successful in school and in their lives outside of school. She further says, I try to teach children to be serious about school. If they try hard, and do e, well in school, able to choose they will be from a wide Jennie Davis of occupations or variety directions to take in life. On the other hand, if they do not do well, there are not many choices left to them. As much as she hates to, at the end of this year she will be leaving the area and moving to Denver, Colorado, due to her husband's new employment. She has really enjoyed the children and parents she has worked with and gotten to know here in Payson. There are two bright spots, however: first, shell be moving to somewhat familiar surroundings, having grown up in Denver, and second, in September, she and her husband are expecting their first baby. We will really miss Mrs. Davis and wish to express our appreciation for her service in behalf of the Taylor School first graders during the past four years.
