Show 10 THE PAYSCN chronicle Need better housing Bureau Convention Thursday, February 11, 1971 Discussion of the need for better housing in Utah County suitable for occupancy by income people at a cost they can afford is the main subject for discussion at three neighborhood meetings sponsored by the Utah County Community Action Program. All meetings are to be conducted by members of the CAP Board of Trustees and will feature a special speaker from the housing division of the Governors Office of Local Affairs. The Utah County Farm Bureau Winter Convention will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 1971, at the Orem 27th Ward Chapel, 575 South 400 West, Orem, Utah, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Registration will Planned begin at 9:30 a.m. for the morning session will be Guest Speakers, Mr. George Scott, discussing County Pia-ni- ng and Zoning, and Mr, Stew- art Richards, discussing the Green Belt and Taxation. The women and men will meet jointly. A contest will be held for the women. Those items to be displayed are Afghans, Sweaters, Salads with recipes, and Cookies with recipes. will be judged and prizes given. The luncheon will be served at 12:15 p.m. Special Guest Speaker will be Congressman Gunn McKay. All members are to Gunn McKay attend and should contact their Local Presidents for reservations or contact the Provo Farm 0, Bureau Office, before February 15th.
