He is still very active and par- ticularly leather enjoys Utah State Hairstylers Win Title The Utah State Hairstyling Team won the title of 1978 USA Championship Team in the Mens Hairstyling in National Competitions, October The Competitions were held at the Hair Fashions Spectacular in Chicago, Illinois. Local team members Tony Simmons, Frank Winfrey, Sid Rogers and Kalvin Wilde competed against state teams from all over the country to win the first place honors. The Competitions are and the Barbers by sponsored 23-2- International Beauticians Association. Members of the Utah team are members of the Associations Local Union No. 377 of Salt Lake City. In addition to the team effort that put Utah on top, Tony won individual awards in the Fashion Cut Competition (First Place) and the Mens Free Style Competition (Third Place).
