W. Allen, distribution vice president. Mr. Schouten will fill the vaccreated by the reancy tirement of Lyman W. Anderson, also effective August 1st. Mr. Schouten, a native Utahn, first joined Mountain Fuel on March 5, 1942, and have over 26 years of ser-- , vice. He held various positions in the Company's Salt Lake City distribution division prior to his transfer and promotion to service foreman at Kearns on March 16, 1957. Mr. Schouten Is married to the former Wanda Kemp and is the father of two daught- ers. ' He Is a member of the Kearns Chamber of Commerce and presently Is serving on the board of directors of the Chamber. years of service. Mr. Anderson was first employed by the Utah Gas and Coke Company on April 21, 1924. He joined Mountain Fuel when the Company was organized In 1935, was transferred to Tooele in 1944 as a district agent, and on November 1, 1963, was transferred and promoted to district manager at Kearns. Mr. Andersons wife, the former Donnette Richards of Utah, Is a former Vernal, Mountain Fuel employee who retired from the Company In 1964 after some 20 years of was a clerk service. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are the parents of one son and two daughters. The son is a practicing physician in Salt Laje City. One daughter is a resident of Tooele where she operates a beauty salon. The other daughter resides In Roy, Utah. Mr. Anderson has served as bishop for the Tooele 3rd ward of the LDS church. He is an active member and past president of the Kearns and has also Club served as president of the Tooele Lions Club. He was Ki-wa- nis zone chairman for District in 1951. Saturday started with a breakfast given by the Keans Lions Club and a Tote Gote competition again sponsored by Salt Lake Service Area 3) Sno-Con- - LRay. Garth Pymn, Brent Christensen and Larry Tracy at the pool and tennis court were hard workers in tennis and swimming events, as well as Tote Gote races and carnival activities.
