They sang songs, had a short program, and served light refreshments. The same day, the girls planted tulips around the Trinity Methodist Church. Another new Camp Fire group has been organized. Mrs. Dolores Tavey, 3933 South 5400 West, Amanda Acres (Hunter), will be the leader for the group. I A; ar up-to-dat- e. out-of-to- Sub-for-San- Camp Fire Girls Hold Meet The Post Office Department has designated the period of November 1 to November 20 for the mailing of Christmas parcels by surface transportation to members of our Armed Forces overseas, according to Postmaster David R. Trevithick. For airmail the period is December 1 to December 10. Greeting cards for the Armed Forces overseas should be mailed within the periods designated for parcels if they are to have a reasonable expectation of delivery prior to Christmas. Mr. Trevithick stated that special attention should be given to packaging and addressing of Christmas parcels. Each carton or box should be of strong, durable material and sufficient cushioning material should be used to prevent any rattling or loosening of articles within. Addresses must be eligible and complete and should be prepared by typewriter or pen and ink.
