Owens LOGANWilllam and Mrs. On J. Lewis led the list of five mayoralty candidates in.' the 'Logan. mulliciPal rimary election Tuesday. Top comcandidates for four-ye- ar missioner were Ben S. Evans and z Fred B. Baugh. Defeated were Curtis L. and Miner, incumbent mayor, Glenn G. Nielson, incumbent commissioner. The tour winning candidates, who ran far ahead orbtbeir rivals, will have their names on the ballot in the municipal election Nov. 8. Mr. Owens, former head of the Vtah State Agricultural College Extension Service, garnered 1450 votes to top Mrs. Lewis who had a total of 1114. Mrs. Lewis is the first woman candidate to run for public office in Logan City. Other candidates for the position of --mayor and their total 'votes are as follows: W. P. Jensen, 230; Curtis L.
