Show Continuations Boutiques Continued from Page 10 As I continued to wander, the sales associate shouted to me from across the room to see if she can help me find anything. It was a little unnerving to be in such a small shop because it can feel like they are watching your every move as you wander from section to section. However, these two sales associates left me alone to wander and allowed me the space to be able to examine all of their items. I discovered the kitchen was right next to their clothing section. The store holds many items that have a funky look but are still functional for their use. I found that a lot of trinkets that are fun and colorful, yet functional in the kitchen, such as a dish brush that looks like a cartoon girl with the scrubbing brisdes as her hair. As I continued through the store, I was drawn to their magnet and gift card section. The sales associates talked to me about all the different sales and deals that are going on as I browse. I ended up leaving Hip and Humble without a single purchase and felt absolutely no pressure from the sales associates, as they let me wander at my own pace without really making me feel that I had to purchase items. The store had a lot of fun items for pretty reasonable prices. I would recommend this store for anyone that wants to decorate their own living space with a funky twist.
