Show litew TRobots' Cast Talented Corky Richard Staff Writer For a movie that had been (quite literally) assembled from scraps, Robots is a movie that is perfect for audiences of any age. It features a talented cast including Halle Berry, Ewan McGregor and Robin Williams. The story centers around the life of a robot named Rodney Copperbottom (voiced by Ewan McGregor) as he grows up or is updated. As hes being updated he sees an advertisement on television by Mister Bigwell (voiced by Mel Brooks) whom inspires Rodney to go to MicroCity to become an inventor. 7 THE FORUM April 13, 2005 When he reaches the city, however, things arent working out as he expected; especially when Bigwell Industries has been taken over by a bureaucrat whom doesnt care about the welfare of robot. This causes Rodney to go on a search for Mister Bigwell. It all boils down to the Rodney trying to motivate the robot who had inspired him to being what he was. The movie has everything: action, comedy and drama. It has one or two moments which are quite d tender. Robots is a machine and when it comes out on video, will be a required addition for VCRs and DVD libraries well-oile- everywhere. ifeM Seinfeld Entertains news D. As I walked around the library pestering students, I found out that many students are doing basically the same things during the summer. Most students are taking May term classes here at Westminster. Allan Pannier, said all he will be doing this summer is working. He is not really interested in an internship. Allans hopes to go to Mexico for his only summer vacation.
