Last Friday, Nov. 14, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Westminster College hosted Major Connections in the Gore School of Business. This is an annual event open to all students and more particular incoming students. The purpose is to aid and orient students with a major and hopefully connect them with a career that is of interest to . them, giving direction within their selected major and career ' respect. ' ''Vs' - sions. The panels were con' ducted by Westminster P College students, faculty, advisers and alumni with connections or expertise in a field d. . communication as well as . , many others. . Mandy Hilgard, a student at Westminster College, said, I am in my junior year here at Westminster and am still' confused as to what career direction I want to take, and more specifically as to what career choices are really out there for my major of interest. These panel discussions have -- . - help focus me and realize what my degree has to offer and how it will benefit me upon graduating.
