Dear Readers of The Forum, I am here to welcome you to a new school year, and with that, a new volume to The Forum. What do you like or dislike about the Shaw Center? And by new volume I do not mean the latest volume. I mean a new volume. A volume that will bring you to the newsstand asking for the latest edition every Tuesday, if not for the chance to keep up with the latest in campus news, than for the chance to see you and your classmates in the paper. In this issue alone there are four guest writers - a string that I hope to keep as Editor of The Forum. f -- ; $ s i v v ? $. 4 f ft doesnt seem to be as cozy as it was last year nk-- z t.,. cyan In addition to seeing the names of your friends as contributing writers, you will commonly see your classmates as subjects of articles and contributors to our new weekly segments Ask Casey and The Question of the Week. sreej end it: edition. Thank you, Matthew Gaschk Forum Editor ' Micah Peterson I recommend to you my fellow students to utilize what our campus has to offer. It would be a shame for one to attend such a highly regarded institution with a unique culture and not know more than five other students or have attended one of the many wonderful and exciting events we offer on and off campus. The Forum will not simply consist of staff writers conveying information to you. It is our goal to involve the readers in the production of each weekly e-m- ail To---- So this is where our tuiton money went! ng - Christi Chauza ut tike tLz September li, 2001 s sj - ir no ixrdt t;hs t isJtJtlSfJfc ?
