His presence engages conversations of intellect and e In words. s circles, his name produces images of a prestigious green thumb, fighting to save the earth. But he is only David W. Orr, scholar of a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D, educator of various institutions, author of two books and of two student of a more, lifetime, and lover of the environment. Orr was welcomed to future of humanity and the environment is endangered by students earning bacnelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorates.
