Show Wellington The Fire Department answered a call to the John Meredith home on Saturday eveniag about 10 p.m. after a shed in the back yard caught fire. Morgan Moon saw tie flames and alerted the Meredith family. The fire Mas contained to the shed after about 30 minutes. One ade of the shed contained riding equipment, tools and feed for a saddle horse.JThese supplies were all lost in the fire. A saddle horse tept in the other half of the hed was rescued by family members. Mrs. Iva Stoddard had son, Morris and his family, granddaughter, Sherri and grandson Earl Stoddard here for the Easter weekeid. Morris and the family jcame from Ogden and Eatl from New Mexico. This comment was made by Dr. Orrin M. Selman, director of Community Services at College of Eastern Utah, upon returning from a week long training session of the National Student Volunteer Program held at California State University at San Francisco. He said the movement toward student involvment work is in volunteer nationwide. More than 1,800 colleges and universities have volunteer programs.
