Thursday, July 15, 1971 Girl Scouts camp under the pines Price and Helper Girl Scouts week pitched their tents under big Ponderosa pines at Price Recreation Area and learned to enjoy out door living in natural surroundings. Hikes, trail lunches, outdoor cookery, crafts, campfire programs and sunrise services were part of several busy days and nights. Cadettes planned and for a day on the trail with Perma-pac- k foods which they cooked on a mountain top. Betty Butler directed the camp of 80 scouts and leaders for an enjoyable, unforgettable outing. Geneva Swartz, Utah Girl Council executive Scout director, and Kaye Dean, both of last Hazel Christensen. Janice and Clifford Snow and girls returned from vacationing in Southern California. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Steven Christensen and boys of Cedar City. Dianne and Kim have enjoyed a visit with their father Craig Funk. They returned to their home in Salt Lake. The Ivan Jeffs were visitors during the week at the home of Rulenes parents Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Behling. Ogden, arrived Wednesday morning for breakfast and an official visit. Visiting with their daughter Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marshall of Bever were Mr. and Mrs. Gardell Snow. Reid and Dorathy Beaily and Scott drove to Los Vegas during the week to visit with relatives and friends. A special compliment should be paid to Bruce Behling and and ground. Mr. and Mrs. Royce Stilson and sons from Granger were guests at the home of Judys parents Richard and Frieda Behling during the weekend. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilde, Mitchell, Stuart and Debbie, enjoyed a visit and fishing trip with the Clive Worthen family. The Worthens took them back to Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Petersen are enjoying a visit with his parents the Kermit Petersons.
