For a period of nearly one year he served as acting director and on January 6 of this year he took a reduction in grade to accept a job with the bureau in Seattle, Wash. He has been heading a field operation there established for health and safety inspection in non-comines. A native of Castle Gate, Mr. Memmott was residing in Kenilworth at the time of his appointment to the government position and was a mire machine and equipment salesman.
