Frank M. Stevenson of Sunny-sid- e will assume the position of District 22 president with headquarters in Price. He succeeds Harry Mangus, Price, who has served during the past four years, Taking over as the new district Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Majors an nounce the birth of their second daughter. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Majors and Mrs, Buster Weston. The S and C Club held its Christmas party at the home of Rhoda Kinder. Gifts were exchanged and a lovely luncheon was served. Firemen and volunteers were called out about 8 a.m. and the furniture was removed to prevent fire damage. The roof was completely burned before the fire was controlled. Mr. and Mrs. Tidwell have moved into a home down the ice plant lane. Gordon Olson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Olson is recovering at his home after spending some time in the Carbon Hospital with a broken leg. Gordon and some friends were skating on the pond at the Vernell Oliver home when the accident occurred. Mrs. Nellie Adams received word on December 23 of the birth of a new grondson to her daughter Elsie and Steve and Burnett, Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Thomgren became the parents of a baby girl on December 13. Both wards of the LDS church conducted Christmas parties in the recreation hall on the holiday weekend. The First ward program was narrated by Gayla Meade with the choir, the young boys and the Primary children singing special Christmas numbers for, "The Baby Everybody Wanted. The Second ward held its City. Mrs. Ella Rowley spent Christmas with her children in Salt Lake City.
