Show Sorosis Sees Oudoor Film Mr and Mrs. Vernon Merrill gave a film accompanied by sound Durront Brownies Stage Investiture Rite Brownie Troop No. 1 of Durrant school held investiture ceremonies for new members last Wednesday afternoon at the school building. New members invested with membership were Kathy Bezyack, Randy Hills, Debby Vise, Peggy Echer, .Debby Larsen, Camille Frandsen, Mary Terry, Juanita Chapman, Lalani Kartchner and Linda Jensen. Troop Leader Louise Bezyack presented the Brownies with their caps and pins. Mrs. LaMont Kartchner read the Brownie story as Mrs. Bezyack pictured the story On a flannel board. After the investiture rites, the young ladies honored their mothers with a tea. Other Brownies present with their mothers were Carol Bene, Janet Bryner, Mary Alice Kil-foyl- Si OF effects to entertain the Price Sorosis Club Monday evening at the home of Mrs. J. C. Hubbard who was hostess and program chairman for the evening. The films shown gave a preview of what travelers could see on a tour through Bryce Canyon, the Moab district, the Arches monuments and other fabulous sites in southeastern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill have made such trips and recorded their views on film. A musical part of the meeting was contributed by Mrs. Jack Parry who played a flute solo "Dancing Doll.' At a recent state board meeting, Barbara Bliss, president of the Price district, was named on the committe planning for the state convention to. be held in September. Also at that time, Lydia Price treasurer, was Bendall, elected to serve on the state financial board of LP.A. The groom was attired in a deep blue tuxedo and the other men in the wedding party wore white dinner jackets with dark trousers. Following their marriage the couple were honored at a reception in the Kenilworth recreation hall, and later in the evening the brides parents served a wedding supper at their home.
