Dee Davis was chairman for the evening. Her topic, of course, was "Poise and Charm. Dee gave many demonstrations to illustrate her theme, including the proper manner to remove a coat, how to carry a purse or parcel, the importance of good posture. Donna Miller modeled a basic black dress and Dee showed how to change its appearance by adding different accessories. Jewelry, cuffs, collars and gloves were used to change the dress from an afternoon model to an after-- 5 style. Charlotte Pike modeled a black coat which can be worn for any occasion because of its versatility. Donna Mezek modeled a casua1 plaid afternoon dress and Dee Davis modeled a lovely blue suit which could be used for different occasions. Phyllis Jensen modeled an after-sheath of blue wool. This variety of wearing apparel was used to show a basic wardrobe which could be suitable for traveling or every day use. After the informative program a business meeting was held Enid Kartchner made a motion that a Christmas card and engraved handkerchief be sent to Beta Sigma Phi shutins throughout the world from Upsilon Chapter this Christmas. The motion carried and the girls decided to have a work meeting for the project at the home of President Denise Mclntire Thursday, November 20, when the handkerchiefs will be engraved. toll Jay (Jor Charm Theme Used At Chapter Meet that hold interest for all the for Gar- cia, Gaylene Salzetti, Roselyn Colombo, and Darla Woodward as past presidents.
